There will be a Tractor Run in aid of the upkeep of Kinneagh Church's windows and Little Blue Heroes Foundation on Sunday August 27.
With thanks to the Virginia Agricultural Show which is Ireland’s leading one day lifestyle and agricultural event Little Blue Heroes will have a charity stall at the event.
The inspirational Honorary Garda Rory McDevitt from Donegal has a wish to climb Errigal "the big mountain". HG Rory and family often pass it on their travels and have decided this year to try and make this wish come true.
In doing this the McDevitt family feel like it's a great opportunity to to do it in aid of Little Blue Heroes and to assist some individual little heroes whom are fundraising for much needed equipment and adaptions. Rory is determined to reach new heights and will be assisted by his father who has a special adapted carrier so they can reach the top together. The climb will start this Sunday at 10.30am and all are welcome to come along and see off Rory and his team, including local Gardai and mountain rescue volunteers on their climb. They always gave Ben so much love, care and enjoyment on days out We are forever grateful for the love and support we've received from little blue hero's and all the guards in Nenagh Guarda Station & we hope by doing the 5k fun run/walk that we can give back a little to them to be able to help more children and families like us.
